Digital model car

A driving digital model car makes the miniature world complete. MCC (Model Car Control) is a solution to make model cars drive very realistically with working lights and appropriate speed. MCC ModelCarParts supplies all parts for the installation of a working car system and conversion of model cars. The installation of the system and the conversion of cars by us is also possible.

With MCC, each car is equipped with a decoder that controls the engine, lights and other functions of the car. Each car has its own battery to operate the electronics. The functions and speed of the car can be set on the decoder itself. The car follows the road via a magnetic strip in the road surface that is followed by a magnet in the steering system of the car. More information about the MCC digital model car can be found here .

The information is sent wirelessly to the car. For this purpose, the road surface is equipped with a transmission system. This transmission system is located under the surface of the road surface and is therefore completely invisible. The transmission system is very simple and cheap to make yourself: it consists of only 2 copper wires that are incorporated into the road surface. Because the transmission system is incorporated into the entire road surface, the digital model car can be given instructions anywhere on the track. This is also possible in invisible places such as in a mountain or a shaded parking lot.

The road is also equipped with position sensors. These are reed contacts or hall sensors that are activated by the steering magnet. Based on these messages, the computer can track each car and steer it precisely. More information about the roads can be found here .
